Instructions for submitting abstracts
Submission for abstracts can only be made online through this website. Go to Abstract Submission
Abstracts must be submitted by December 31st 2021. Presenting author will be notified of the acceptance by January 20TH 2022. Every abstract (even if not accepted for presentation) will be included in the abstract book
The final acceptance of the abstract will not be confirmed until the presenting author has registered to the Congress.
Instructions for preparing abstracts
Abstracts must be related to the main OPMD issues: PATHOLOGICAL/MOLECULAR CLASSIFICATION, PRECLINICAL MODELS, CLINICAL MANAGEMENT
All abstracts must be submitted in the format described below. A structured abstract of no more than 250 words is required (excluding the title, names and affiliations). Abstracts can be submitted in English only.
The title must be presented in bold 12 point Arial font.
Below the title, the authors are listed with initials and surname in 11 point Arial font. Names of the authors should be separated by commas. The presenting author’s name must be underlined. Superscript numbers are used to indicate the affiliations.
The affiliations must be listed below the names with 11 point italic Arial font including the institution, city and country. Leave one empty line below the affiliations before the abstract text.
The text should be divided into sections with bold headings, with each section beginning from the left. The text must be written with 11 point Arial font with single line spacing. Please, spell out abbreviations on first mention.
Format
Title: bold, 12 point Arial font
Authors: 11 point Arial font, superscript numbers are used to indicate the affiliations
Presenting author: name must be underlined
Affiliations: affiliation to be listed below the author names with 11 point italic Arial font
Text: 11 point Arial font, single line spacing, no more than 250 words (Backround, Materials and methods, Results, Conclusion). 1 Table and 1 Picture max allowed (each counts 30 words)
